A. Litel (b. 1989) is an American artist who lives and works in Southern California. A self-taught artist, he creates compelling mixed media works existing at the intersection of code, photography, video, painting, and drawing, well as abstract single-media work in the aforementioned media. As an artist, he aims for an unusual aesthetic that combines raw fervor with mathematic precision. Shaped by a lifelong obsession with the news and politics, his work deconstructs and confronts the social and political forces shaping the conditions and mores of contemporary society.
