This piece was shot in late 2020. It's part of a series of 4 amaryllis flowers. It was shot on the Sony A7RIV using a Syrp Genie Mini Rotating plate. 2 grow lights were used.

The Amaryllis is a flower the blooms in all directions. It's impossible to capture its complexity and beauty by just shooting it from one angle. The rotation is the perfect way to capture this three dimensional bloom.
