A scene from some imaginary location and time in the Andromeda Galaxy.

This work was inspired by recollections of my childhood—setting up scenes and playing with various toys and plastic figures. Dinosaur sets that included anachronistic mammals and hominids were among my favorite items as a boy.

The image was created using a number of photographs and techniques. A variety of pieces were combined, photographed, and then digitally superimposed on other original photographs. In addition, digital painting was used for some of the astronomical effects.
