What is reality? or rather: What is OUR reality? We cannot answer this question because we are locked in a cage of emotions, prejudices, hormones, but also in a library of experiences, associations, memories.
"Are we real?" - is the question asked by an AI-created character. Even though he is struggling with inner conflicts, in the end he cannot hesitate to ask. The leader, the lady in the foreground, doesn't know, or pretends not to know. Or maybe she is surprised by the whole thing. But her people are waiting for answers. They won't get her answers, but they won't get OUR answers either. What is real?
In my series "3-Second-Stories" I take my flash fiction approach (#MicroMERZ etc.) to the extreme, creating a 3-second film that provides food for the mind and heart.
With AI we don't need to "outshine Hollywood" etc. No, that's not the point. We will go in an unknown direction, discovering possibilities that were unthinkable before. We will expand creativity - and our reality - with AI, not replace it. AI is a very human matter.
