Flag #2

One Day
This painting is part of a series of exercises created during the national strike in Colombia that began on April 28, 2021. In this exercise I am working on the symbol of the national flag, as an allegory of a national heritage that in its popular use is written, crossed out, erased and re-thought.

It is a digital painting that belongs to one of my most recent painting series entitled: Drifting, drawing and listening.

Drifting, drawing and listening is a project of abstract paintings in which I have been working since 2019. In this project, I try to express the different tensions generated in the act of 'roaming' (walking erratically) the city.

The painting aims to bring the viewer into an experience, where they is embraced by the multiple visual-sonorous graphisms and noises that are contemplated when you roam by different places of the world
