Based on photographs of a petrol station forecourt. Metal grate and barrier. Overlooking four road lanes. Hum of passing traffic. From a five door hatchback car. 1.6 litre engine. Bright sun. Low in the early evening sky.

Australian artist David Gasi (b. 1977) creates experimental lens based and digital process art, exploring the concepts of deconstruction, différance and deferred meaning. He studied Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art (2011) and Computing at Monash University (2001). David currently lives and works in Sheffield, UK.
