The inspiration for this peice began with a disagreement with my wife and we had gone to do own things to cool off. She had gone for a coffee with a friend and I had gone to our beach at Port Des Torrent, Ibiza. Walking along the bay I had to take a photograph of the stunning sky that evening for its beauty. I then headed back to the apartment and began to work and manipulate the picture. Unbeknown to me along the coastline my wife had seen the same sky and was inspired to also take a photo. When we final met back at the apartment later in the evening we discovered that we had taken not only the same photo, but had taken our pictures at exactly the same time: 19:19. We then looked up the meaning of the number we had connected with and found it meant, to “trust in your creativity”.

And from this magical sky and synchronicity, the artwork was born.
