Bestia is created by multiplying the recordings of two lovers in an embrace and by layering them with the images of forcefully running water. As their bodies entangle into one, constantly changing form with a myriad of different contours, the moving image begins to resemble an animal (bestia), hinting at the visceral aspect of their physical connection.

The water underlines the subconscious - animalistic - angle of the scene, but at the same time helps to dematerialise the image, turning it into its opposite - an ethereal mirage.
