NICOLE COHEN (BA, Hampshire College, Amherst, MFA from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles), her work combines the past with the present, using video, collage, and photography. She merges images with video overlay and collage to create a timelessness. Using vintage magazine clippings and historical interiors, she employs technology to create interventions of fantasy, perspective, persuasion, allure by questioning ones orientation. She has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Los Angeles County of Art, Williams College Museum of Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Autostadt, Wolfsburg, Schloss Britz in Berlin, Germany, American University Museum at Katzen Art Center in Washington D.C., and in Asia. and The Moving Image Museum in Queens NYC. She was recently invited to participate in the South American Biennial.
