Origo

Origo explores a foundational question in psychology and philosophy: How is the human mind shaped by the dynamic tension between Order, Chaos, and Structure?

The series proposes a vision of the Self as a constellation of three interacting force-axes. Chaos represents the unconscious and instinctive depths; Order expresses the conscious will and clarity; and Structure reflects the collective patterns that frame our identity. Consciousness emerges as the emotional climate created by the friction of these three vectors—a quantum field of potential, conflict, and coherence.

The creation process begins with the artist isolating each of these forces through deep introspection. A foundational memory—whether a dream or intimate narrative—is used to summon the emotional state associated with each axis. During this immersion, EEG data is recorded, capturing the biological signature of Chaos, Order, and Structure in their essential form. These recordings become the raw material of the project, functioning not as narrative but as technical evidence of psychic differentiation.

The biological data is then transformed through a multilayered technological process. A custom-trained language model reshapes the memory into a dreamlike narrative, awakening emotional archetypes. AI classifiers analyze this text to detect dominant emotional states, which are validated by a second model measuring Valence, Arousal, and Dominance (VAD) from the EEG signals. These values determine the initial state of a quantum simulation that represents the emotional equilibrium of the Self.

At the core of Origo lies a living simulation where three forces —Chaos, Order, and Structure— intertwine like threads of the same pulse. Each one resonates with a different psychological current: instinct and fear, intention and clarity, coherence and potential. As these forces interact, they generate a shifting signature, a kind of inner imprint born from their constant negotiation.

What follows is a delicate moment of transformation: a pattern emerges, then dissolves, then becomes something new. From that transition arises a subtle noise —the trace of a wave settling— which blends with the organic irregularities shaped by the mind’s own activity. When the inner state is aligned, the forms flow with calm precision; when it is fragmented, they break into asymmetry and tension. Each piece reveals the quiet battle between lucidity and impulse, construction and collapse.

This living data sculpture becomes the latent core of a generative imaging engine, which transforms the quantum patterns into symbolic visual forms inspired by nature and archetypal imagery. The process extends into sound: an AI-generated score is composed using the same emotional data, shaping a multisensory environment that mirrors the underlying psychic architecture.

Origo stands as a manifesto of this trinity—a structural portrait of consciousness in the digital era. It visualizes the interplay of Chaos, Order, and Structure as a single, breathing organism, revealing the source code of identity through the fusion of memory, biology, and quantum simulation.
