Christoph Thewalt, born 1962 He is living and working in Wiesbaden, Germany. Study of painting and anthroposophically-oriented art therapy. Thewalt is subject to intrinsic perception and is increasingly getting in actual conflict with given manifested meanings. What this means for his imagery is an impatient and sometimes "wild" expressive wielding of the partly autonomous hand, while using classical tools to at least render lingering basic figures visible. The use of digital media allows him to suspend this restlessness thanks to new modes of practice, and to begin to dive into magically regressive worlds via the eyes. In doing so, he is developing a visual language that attempts to convey the naivety of a purposeless and dubious perception. https://www.unansammelbar.de
