Franz Rosati utilizes a fusion of customized digital technologies, scientific software, and programming environments to shape his unique artistic creations. His work breathes life into diverse forms such as sounds, moving images, and 3D environments.

Rosati's work spans a broad range, from audiovisual concerts that are characterized by narrative structures, to video installations in public spaces. In his concerts, the dominant narrative is punctuated by robust, symphonic sounds, characterized by strong bass pulses, enhancing the cinematic dimension. Conversely, his video installations are designed for public spaces and exhibit a contemplative nature, promoting an immersive experience for the audience.

Rosati's portfolio boasts notable projects such as Distantia, Latentscape, Map of Null, and Machine & Structure. These works have been showcased in prestigious festivals and international forums such as the ACT Asian Culture Center, Sonar Barcelona, Les Bains Numerique, ADAF, Ohm Berlin, and the RomaEuropa Festival. Moreover, his work is highlighted on prominent curated digital art platforms such as Sedition, Artpoint, Artscloud, NIIO, ReasonedArt, and Framed*.

Aside from his artistic pursuits, Rosati is a dedicated educator. He is currently a professor/lecturer of Sound and Media Design at the IED European Institute of Design in Rome. Additionally, he imparts knowledge on Music Informatics and Multimedia Composition in various Italian Music Conservatories. His rich teaching career also includes past roles at several other institutions, schools, and universities.
