Only a few kilometres from where this was recorded, the most western point of Tasmania (Australia) called The Edge of the World, is one of three weather stations around the earth that monitor the earths air purity. The air here is blowing off the wild Southern Ocean and has not had contact with land for 14,000km. Since industrialisation this station has confirmed that CO2 levels globally have risen by 40%.
