In this mesmerizing reimagining of the classic still life, the James Cochran takes the traditional skull motif and propels it into the digital and virtual realms. The skull, rendered in the Cochran's signature style, slowly dissolves into the void before reforming—a hypnotic loop symbolizing the eternal cycles of death and rebirth.

In the accompanying VR experience, the viewer is invited to step inside this cosmic journey, where the skull floats in space, gradually atomizing into a field of floating spheres, immersing the participant in an otherworldly exploration of life’s impermanence.
