trans_form

trans_form looks into Ozan Turkkan's digital practice and his ongoing inquiry on transitional forms. Turkkan's new collection presents two works trans_form v2 and recycled inspired by his investigation on transitional forms in the practice of Generative Art.

Turkkan's work is centred on experimental digital media with a focus on generative and algorithmic code art, fractal geometry, mixed reality experiences, interaction, and motion as a reflection of the impermanent nature of existence, human and social behaviour.

recycled is a moving image piece on motion and constant transformation of the material, emotion and frequency. It highlights the beauty of transformation through recycling process of every element, composing and decomposing itself to generate new forms, as it does in nature, sociology and human psychology.

trans_form v2 is a meditation on the transformation of both livings bodies and societies, pointing out that all the in-between forms become transitional forms in a broader sense. Everything is in a constant change in terms of form, whether it exists in biological dimension, social or psychological dimension.
