Being a barber taught me the ins and outs of running a business where I was able to discover my potential as an entrepreneur. It also allowed me to find what fuels my mind and soul —the freedom to express myself through creative art forms and an opportunity to explore my passion for art, creativity and design. With 6 years of expertise as a barber, I decided to let go of the machine and start a new career in construction as a glazier.  Working in this field for 10 years has exposed to multi-million dollar mansions with mind-blowing architecture and this has also transformed me to see art with a fresh set of eyes. Through the different career paths life has taken me, I continue to add new layers of creating art in unseen ways. Rising artist. Undiscovered. New to the industry. Labels that put people in boxes. As a working class Latino, even in this industry we must break barriers. Barriers of social class, race, and opportunity. As I continue to manage two full time jobs I strive to become an active full time artist where I am able to create art pieces with no limitations or barriers of any kind. Design, structure and architecture are the vital elements that highlight the physical art forms of my pieces—both pleasing to the eye and transformational.
