Possible Skin

Delving into a dream of biological futures, Christopher Kenworthy shows an attempt at spawning skin from the machinery of imagination. The mathematics of form constrain the skin into non-organic shapes before a moment of nature slips in and brings ripples and bulges that suggest the goal has been reached. But then the doll-like surface returns, and even though it throbs, it cannot sustain the form it is trying to take. A brief vision, this is Kenworthy at his best, blending the overwhelmingly simple with the blindingly complex.
