Anchored to the Sun

A midsummer inspired piece — working with the idea that important standing stones, sometimes known as "heel stones", are fixed by strong lines of force to the Sun as further significant stones might be aligned to other astronomical features. The textures in this work are based on slow motion tracking shots from Kealkill Bronze-age complex in West Cork made with cinematographer Enda O'looney. The music was scored by myself to the picture, feeding back certain patterns and textures into the overall composition.
