Jevan Chowdhury (b. 1978) is an award-winning director and photographer with 20 years of experience working with film.

He has led and managed campaigns for international organisations including the UK Department of International Trade, MTR and the Hong Kong Ballet. His placemaking project ‘Moving Cities’ has been shown at 68 festivals, with exhibitions at Sadler’s Wells, Tate Modern, London City Hall and The AT&T Aurora Exhibition. Jevan’s work has also featured in publications including Time Out, Nowness and Lens Culture. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Through his work he seeks to challenge traditional placemaking by renewing urban spaces and transforming them into theatrical installations. Jevan’s company Wind & Foster is a design-driven creative agency working with dancers, artists and designers with the sole focus of bringing together street life to redefine and humanise overlooked public spaces.
