Sedition Art Stream – Better than ever!

Sedition Art Stream – Better than ever!

Art Stream 2 launches on Monday 4th December 2017, and we’ve designed it to give you complete control over your digital art collection. Your choice of any artworks by any artist across the site, for as long as you want them! Subscribers have 12 spaces in their Vault to fill with their picks from Sedition. The ‘rented’ artworks in your subscription can be viewed and played alongside any works you already own in your Vault, and they can be swapped out for alternatives at any time, giving the user total freedom.

All Sedition users can now enjoy multiple playlists in their Vault. Subscribers can create their own playlists or select from one of Sedition’s curated lists. Alternatively, subscribers can select Art Stream Weekly Mode to receive a new playlist of artworks each week: Every Monday, a fresh playlist of 12 artworks will appear in your Vault to allow you to discover cutting edge works by the most exciting artists of our generation!

Key Features

  • Select any 12 available artworks to rent and add to your Vault.
  • Create multiple playlists from your purchased and rented artworks
  • Select curated playlists from Sedition, or create your own
  • Weekly Mode offers a new selection of 12 curated artworks each week

  • How It Works

Sedition artworks can be displayed on any connected device - usually TVs, computers, tablets or smartphones using the Sedition apps for iOS, Android and Apple TV. In the iOS app, works can also be downloaded into the Vault - perfect for seamless playback in poor signal areas.

All the artworks available on Sedition - whether purchased outright or rented through subscription - are limited editions.

Subscribers can rent any available (not sold-out) artwork from the site. As limited editions there is a finite number of artworks available - an edition size of 200 means that only 200 individuals will be able to rent or purchase that edition.

Collectors can still purchase editions AT ALL TIMES until the edition run is sold out. If an edition sells out whilst subscribers are renting it, it will disappear from the subscriber’s Vault and they will be prompted to select an alternative work to replace it.

The only way to guarantee permanent access to an artwork is to purchase it. Being a subscriber and renting artworks give you a chance to try before you buy - and offers a 10% discount from the purchase price!

When an edition is close to selling out, anyone renting that artwork will receive an alert. If there is an artwork you particularly like, you can always purchase the edition to avoid any risk of it being removed from your Vault.
