'die happy' is a new artwork from Mark Blacks series of new digital collages inspired by being in lockdown over the course of 2020 / 2021.

Here we have a still life created from found digital objects that looks at removal of freedoms that have been experienced across the world by us all in these extraordinary times.

Built around the idea that we only have one life and we need to go live it, something we had taken for granted until we found ourselves held back from the world during COVID 19 and the global lock down. More than ever we need to remind ourselves that life is amazing, full of things to experience and if when we come to the end we didn't 'die happy' what a waste it would be.
