Growing up in "The Natural State", Arkansas, Michael always loved the amazing and intriguing patterns that nature presented in each of her elements. Finding beauty in simplicity is the inspiration for his art. After living in the San Francisco Bay area for 17 years, his West Coast experiences paired with his Southern heritage made him a fan of the "unique" and "eccentric", but still with a passion for the outdoors. Whether he is walking through the forest, or along a busy city street, he looks for those artistic elements of design- natural design... the things we pass by everyday in the world around us without much thought. Michael's hopes are that his work is not only appealing to the eyes, but it also creates a moment of soothing tranquility in your mind.
