Claire Reika Wright has had a long held fascination with the concept of the Devil: the angel who fell from grace and who is blamed for all of humanity's ills and misdemeanours. In her artwork Fallen Angels, two ‘fallen angels’ rendered as women are semi merged and broken and lie together in a deathly embrace. Biblical text caresses their broken bodies as they float between heaven and the void, a symbolic apple forever just out of reach.

This 5.5 minute video uses textures and colours that have been painted with real paints, after which the pictures were scanned into the computer and manipulated using various digital techniques.
