HACIENDA BACOC THE YUCATAN 1

The simplicity of architectural form is a perpetual pleasure that defines us as humans and proportion, when executed well, brings peace and well being. Harmony, one of the characteristics of visual stimulation, can cross cultures and language enriching and satisfying a hunger that is not always evident until we are sated.
The black and white digital photograph is part of a series for a Mexican architect who renovated this Hacienda in the middle of the jungle in The Yucatan in 2009.It is built on an elevated plinth with references to the Mayan culture that preceded it by several centuries.
