Małgorzata Greszta was born in Warsaw in 1990. She’s an author of poems, short stories, visual essays and philosophical articles. The subjects of her works are mainly the structure and identity of things. Her graphics and collages are snippets of old family photographs, photographs taken from old adventure novels and encyclopedias she has seen in her childhood. As a photographer she is interested in texture of objects seen in close-up. In them she looks for the image of the universe, following Leibniz's "Monadology".
