American artist and composer Sara Ludy (b. 1980) explores confluence of the physical and virtual using a variety of traditional and digital media. Her practice incorporates photography, animation, video, live performance, computer drawing, virtual environments and sound.

Ludy graduated from SAIC with a BFA in New Media art in 2003. Past exhibition of her work have included Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; New Museum, New York; Berkeley Art Museum, California; Xpo Gallery, Paris; Honor Fraser, Los Angeles; 319 Scholes, New York; bitforms gallery, New York; Postmasters Gallery, New York; Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, New York; Interstate Projects, Brooklyn; Western Front, Vancouver; the New Forms Festival, Vancouver; Museum of the Moving Image, New York; and Eyebeam Centre for Art and Technology, New York.
