My name is Ayesha Javeed, and I graduated George Mason University in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Art & Visual Technology. I've been carrying my passion for art ever since I was a kid, watching my late mother paint breathtaking landscapes on a canvas. Though I've always wanted to be a talented artist like her, I also had no desire to copy her; rather, I wanted to find a style and medium that defined me. With that said, I turned to the digital arts and have been creating digital paintings ever since. Overall, I like my artwork to exude a sense of surreal mystery, which is why my favorite themes have always been science fiction, fantasy, and abstraction. Whenever I generate an idea for a new art piece, I dissect that idea, add to it, remove from it, then I piece whatever remains back together. It’s as if I’m creating a brand new puzzle out of already existing pieces.
