An edition of his seminal performance work work about artists, gentrification and austerity "The Ballad of Skinny Lattes and Vintage Clothing" (2012) is held in the permanent collection of the Estorick Collection in London. Young says "As an artist, I have developed a body of sound, installation, film and performance works for galleries, museums, public spaces, recorded media and the internet since 2005. My practice is concerned with the transformation of everyday noise by focusing on the minutiae of the listening process.Through my use of binaural recording techniques, I aim to immerse the listener in 3D audio works made exclusively from sounds that we tend to either block out or ignore." "One of the most talented and innovative sound artists of our generation" - Professor Lizbeth Goodman, SMARTlab, UCD. Artist Website: http://artofnoises.com
